OnePlus Nord 2 Launch Live Updates: OnePlus Nord 2 has launched in India today. The phone is the first OnePlus device powered by a MediaTek chipset. OnePlus will also be launching a new pair of True Wireless earbuds – the OnePlus Buds Pro, which is set to feature noise cancellation.
The OnePlus Nord 2 features a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset. It comes with a 4,500mAh battery and 65W Warp Charging. OnePlus Nord 2 will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and an HDR10+ certification. The phone will go on sale via Amazon and the e-commerce site has published a dedicated OnePlus Nord 2 page.
The OnePlus Nord 2 will start at Rs 27,999 and will go on open sale starting July 28. The early access sale will start on July 26. The price quoted above is for the 6GB variant with 128GB storage; the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage will cost Rs 29,999, while the 12GB+256GB option will cost Rs 34,999
The 12GB RAM option will come in Blue Haze, Gray Sierra and Green Woods colour options. The 6GB RAM option will only come in a Blue Haze colour option, while the 8GB RAM option will come in Blue Haze and Gray Sierra options. The Green Words colour is only coming in August
The India pricing for the OnePlus Buds Pro has not been announced yet. OnePlus will be revealing the same later.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be available in India starting at Rs 27,999. Early access sales and open sales will begin on July 26 and 28 respectively. The phone will be available in three colours - Gray Sierra, Blue Haze and Green Wood.
The OnePlus Buds Pro will be available in Matte Black and Glossy White colour options. Other features include 94ms low latency, Bluetooth 5.2, and HeyMelody app support for non-OnePlus phones.
The OnePlus Buds Pro will come with silicone tips and adaptive noise cancellation features. The new design on the buds also include shorter stems. The smart adaptive noise cancellation is capable of reducing nosie around users by up to 40 decibels. The buds also come with three microphones on each earbud for better nosie capturing during calls.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G also features Wi-Fi 6 and Dual 5G SIM support for better and faster connectivity, along with Haptics 2.0 for better feedback.
OnePlus claims that the custom MediaTek Dimensity 1200 on the OnePlus Nord 2 5G provides fast speeds with better AI capabilities compared to other phones with the same chipset.
The Nightscape Ultra mode on the Oneplus Nord 2 5G is capable of taking pixtures in extremely dark scenarios, including scenes with just 1 lux of lighting, claims OnePlus.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be available in three colours, Gray Sierra, Blue Haze and the India exclusive Green Wood. The Phone will also ship with OxygenOS 11.3 out of the boxy, with two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.

OnePlus has been teasing various aspects of the OnePlus Nord 2 ahead of the launch of phone. A recent tweet reveals the packaging of the phone, which similar to the Nord's package from 2020, takes a detour from the Red box design and brings in a charcoal black box with the Nord branding instead.
